About Parking for Commuters and Downtown Employees
If you commute to or from Sausalito, or work in Sausalito, you may be eligible for reduced daily parking rates in some of Sausalito’s public parking lots. Eligible commuters and employees may access discounted all-day parking through ParkMobile using a Special Zone code. Monthly or quarterly permits are also available. Please see below for information on D and L Permits. You can also see Caledonia District Employee Parking page for parking options near the Caledonia District.
As part of the City’s transition to new Flowbird pay stations, the City is no longer issuing Daily Parking Cards (commuter parking cards). These physical commuter cards will not be compatible with the new pay station equipment. Instead, eligible participants will need to enroll in the ParkMobile program and use the City’s Special Zone code to receive commuter/employee pricing in designated municipal lots.
Eligible Parking Locations
The Commuter Employee Parking Program is valid only in the following City-owned municipal parking lots:
- Municipal Parking Lot 3
- Municipal Parking Lot 4
- Municipal Parking Lot 5 (numbered spaces ONLY)
Commuter parking benefits do not apply to on-street parking spaces or to other municipal parking lots unless otherwise posted.
Parking availability is not guaranteed and is subject to first-come, first-served availability.
